Our favorite and beloved friend and forum moderator Carol has had a health adventure today. Please keep her in your prayers for her to get well fast and come home stronger and healthier. She is currently in the hospital and undergoing some tests to see what exactly is the issue.

Please keep her in your prayers and when we have some more news we will post them.
We love you Carol :)

Room 224
Wellstar Douglas Hospital
Douglasville, GA 30134
770-949-1500

Carol has a lesion on her pancreas which has caused an infection and anemia. She is on antibiotics and will have a gastroenterological procedure tomorrow to repair the lesion.

She will be in the hospital until Saturday or longer depending on whatever else the doctors determine after her procedure tomorrow. I will try to keep you all updated.

Why is it that bad things always happen to such good people?

A little update.
Carol is a real trouper and her spirits are high even though she is extremely exhausted. She hasn't gotten much sleep these past few days, so hopefully she will in the next few.

She hasn't had any procedures (not that I know of) but has had a multitude of tests. She is still on antibiotics and will be examined by a specialist doctor for a better evaluation tomorrow. He/she wasn't available till then. So I guess we will have a better understanding tomorrow.

Keep the prayers coming for a speedy recovery. She's ready to go home and we all want her to come back too.

Carol got a phone call and some beautiful roses from Doris you know who today. She is in much better spirits, especially since Doris called her "A Perfect Person"!

TO ALL MY DEAR FRIENDS,
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE BEEN ON SAMPOD IN SOME TIME.  I AM HOME AND IMPROVING BUT STILL HAVE ONE BIG TEST TO GO AFTER I GET OFF THE MEDS.  THEY HAVE ME ON 4 POWERFUL ANTIBOTICS AND IT'S REALLY SOME STRONG STUFF.
I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS HAPPEN BUT I JUST KNOW I HAVEN'T FELT GOOD IN WEEKS AND HAVEN'T SLEPT MUCH AT NIGHT.

ALL YOUR SWEET MESSAGES MADE ME CRY.
EVERYONE HAS BEEN SO GREAT ABOUT KEEPING IN TOUCH AND MIKE CALLED ONCE A DAY IF I DIDN'T CHECK IN WITH HIM.

I KNOW THIS IS GOING TO ALL TURN OUT FOR THE GOOD.
DORIS CALLED ME TWICE WHILE I WAS THERE AND SENT ME SUCH GORGEOUS FLOWERS.
I KNOW SHE IS MY GUARDIAN ANGEL.  SHE DID MAKE ME LAUGH AND TOLD ME THINK ONLY GOOD THOUGHTS.

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE PRAYERS.  KEEP PRAYING BECAUSE I STILL HAVE THE SCOPE TEST AND BIOPSY SOON.
LOVE YOU ALL,
CAROL

Thanks Christie,
Okay...tomorrow is the scope procedure.   I'm getting a little nervous, not so much about the scope but what they find.  Please keep me in your prayers tonight and tomorrow.
I haven't forgot about any of you....just doing a lot of resting.

Love you all,
Carol
